Josée di Stasio, who appears too rarely on television, returns to our screens next week as a guest judge MasterChef Quebec.

She joins judges Martin Picard and Stefano Faita on Tuesday's episode as the competition officially launches after the first week dedicated to selecting the 16 amateur chefs.
We therefore know the identity of these participants who will compete against each other in the coming months. They all got their hands on an apron that opens the door to competition.

Some candidates are already characterized by their energy and enthusiasm. Let us think in particular of the very expressive Sonia Rhéaume from Quebec, who pounced on Stefano Faita when he gave her his MasterChef apron. Both judges appreciated his seafood linguine dish. We also think of Pierre-Yves Lévesque from Saguenay, who cooked scallops to perfection.
During this second week starting Monday, contestants must cook ingredients hidden under the Mystery Box. The winner will be given a benefit. The contestants have to take on a second culinary challenge and, yes, they have to, one of them has to hand in their apron and go home.
Eight additional guest judges
The eight other guest judges for this first season of the show are Sébastien Benoit, Lindsay Brun, Marc Hervieux, Martin Juneau, Arnaud Marchand, Louis-François Marcotte, Ricardo and sister Angèle.
