HollywoodPQ had the opportunity to talk to the kind and generous people Julie Snyder on the sidelines of the launch of the new game show she is hosting, ie Every second countsairs every Monday at 8pm on Noovo.
During this very pleasant moment with the host, she spoke honestly about various topics from her personal and professional life, especially her love life, her children and her job, which she has been doing for over 40 years now. !
Here is the second part of this unique interview.
HollywoodPQ: “Since the end of The week of the 4th of JulyAre you bored hosting a show where you give interviews or are you happy hosting a game?”
Julie Snyder: “Actually, it's like having four guests on a talk show because I talk to them about what they do, where they come from… so I have my curiosity that is satisfied!” I'm interested in others, so I'm interested I choose their world (…) I have built a bond with the candidates, they are like my guests on a talk show, I have the best of both worlds! But you know, after week 4, Julie, I was so tired that I was really exhausted…”
HPQ: “Do you feel better now?”
JS: “I'm feeling better now and I'm really happy to take on this challenge and I'm really happy to get back to the game!” I'm a girl who likes to play, so I'm happy with that!”
HPQ: “You can see on TV that you’re having fun!”
JS: “Thank you thank you!”
HPQ: “We could see that Romy wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps, she is already a little active in the world of television, she has had a few appearances. Is your son also interested in being part of this environment?
JS: “Actually, Romy doesn’t want to follow in my footsteps, but she likes working with me, that’s different!” That means, if I had a bakery, Romy would come and bake bread and muffins with me, but that doesn’t mean that she wants the bakery. She is involved in my social networks because she sometimes thinks that I publish nonsense (…) and she says to me: That's mom, no. It's no! Most people monitor their children's social media, but my daughter monitors mine! At some point I made a TikTok Claudie Mercier and she said: No, that's mom, I love Claudie very much, but that shouldn't come up (…) this TikTok, with Claudie, mom, that's no, no, no. We don't do that anymore, we don't do TikToks like that anymore! So she helps me with social media, we create the website for La Grave Hotel, the hotel we rent, so she helps me create the website and Thomas, it's his first real job on TV, he's in the credits the show because he’s one of the question editors!”
HPQ: “You must be proud of her!”
JS: “Yes, yes, very, very proud! Thomas is a budding genius champion! He has already won the Dragon Award for his team's most valuable player when he was in high school. Obviously I was crying and watching all his games against the other schools and when he won I clapped my hands and he was really ashamed, he said to me: Mom, if you still want to visit me at Génies en herbe, you have to you really stop clapping when I have a good answer, that's really awkward! So that's it, I'm pretty proud of my kids, yeah! (laughs) »
HPQ: “The most important thing for you, if I can summarize it, is to give the best of yourself. Is that what you teach your children?”
JS: “Yes. (…) I think what my two children have in common is that they work, they earn a living. They work in school, they also work outside of school and I think they know how valuable work is!”
HPQ: “I can imagine that they were very inspired by you (…) Having a model like you should definitely not have been a negative thing!”
JS: “Yeah, well, they like having a mom at home to stay with them too. I have great admiration for women and men, but unfortunately there are more women than men who do that, who stay at home, because when my children were little I didn't want that. “They notice that I'm working.” So I often put them to bed, and as soon as they were in bed I went back to work (…) I wanted to be there to pick them up after school, I wanted cupcakes with them baking, I attended all the plasticine workshops at school, I didn't miss any, I didn't miss a dance show, a xylophone show, I did all the shows! (…) I was always very present for them… honestly, I would have preferred not to work when they were still in their early childhood. I worked less anyway, so I did it The bankerbecause it was less demanding than doing Star Academy. I took long breaks from the Star Académie (…) My family life determined my career.”
HPQ: “After several years of working, are you still passionate about what you do?”
JS: “Oh yes! Yes. I really am still just as passionate, still just as passionate, yes really!”
HPQ: “The definition of success is different for everyone, but do you think you have achieved your definition of success?”
JS: “I think that success is not just about being successful in life, but also about being successful in life!” Have I achieved success in my life? Well… Thomas and Romy are the rainbows of my life, but could I be more successful in my life? The answer is yes! In my personal life the answer is: Yes, I could be more successful!”
HPQ: “May I ask you how you would improve your personal life?”
JS: “Well, I’m single, so I’d like to meet a lover!”
HPQ: “The Charming Prince?”
JS: “No, not Prince Charming, I don't believe in Prince Charming!” But I'm single, so I'd like to meet a lover and spend time with him!”
HPQ: “Just before I'm done, I have no choice but to ask the famous question, to which we don't have an answer yetDouble cast will return this fall?
JS: “I will invoke the Fifth Amendment, I will invoke the right to remain silent (…)”
HPQ: “What can I wish you for the year 2024, which has just begun?”
JS: “As in OD, finding love! (laughs) »
HPQ: “No prince charming!”
JS: “No Prince Charming, no, no! I don't need a prince charming, I just need a man I want to spend time with and it won't be complicated!
HPQ: “The one who meets your expectations and needs!”
JS: “I don't have many expectations, I don't have many needs (…) I just don't like wasting time with someone, it just has to be done!” In 2024, in my love life, it's like in our quiz: Everyone Second counts, I don't feel like wasting my time! (laughs) »
