“The two great defenders [Lamoureux et Warren] are very difficult to deal with with their long range, just like Tristan Luneau,” he said.
Comments that flattered Lamoureux.
“Tristan and I are in the same agency and our defense coach is Paul Boutilier, so we see the defensive game in the same way. Noah has always been difficult to defeat because he is so tough and strong. It’s nice to hear that other players see that and recognize that.”
On Tuesday morning, Luneau and Lamoureux were among six players skating, a sign that they would not play in the afternoon game against USports. Reading between the lines, we understand that they are in a good position to secure a place in the national team.
But Lamoureux prefers not to develop ideas too quickly.
“The more the days go by, the more I look forward to finding out what will happen. Tomorrow we will meet the team and I can’t wait to find out,” he said.
