Just days after it was revealed that Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the remainder of his world tour due to health concerns stemming from his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, the singer is already in better spirits and is flashing a smile to his fans.
The 29-year-old singer announced in June 2022 that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome type 2, a rare form of shingles that can lead to hearing loss and facial paralysis.
Bieber had his tour postponed last year in hopes of touring again in 2023, although he announced earlier this month that the remaining shows were cancelled.

The video posted Wednesday showed Bieber in a gray hoodie and blue puffer coat tuned in to Tems’ song Ice T.
The short video was captioned “Wait for it…” as the singer zoomed in on his face before flashing a happy smile to his 281million followers.
Bieber shared no further updates on his health, though he’s definitely come a long way since first revealing his diagnosis last June.
He shared a video explaining that he’s been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which the Mayo Clinic says occurs when “a flare-up of shingles affects the facial nerve near one of your ears.”
The syndrome causes facial paralysis and hearing loss, which are temporary in most cases but can be permanent if not treated quickly.
“Obviously, as you can probably see from my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, and it’s from this virus that’s attacking the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has resulted in paralysis of my face,” Bieber explained in the June 2022 video.
Justin later posted a sad update on his Instagram story, saying, “It was getting harder and harder to eat which was extremely frustrating please pray for me,” with a teardrop emoji.
“I can’t believe I’m saying that. I have done everything to get better but my illness is getting worse and worse,” he wrote in an Instagram Story post.

“It breaks my heart that I have to postpone these next shows (doctor’s order). To all my people, I love you so much and I will rest and get better.’
He released another clip in which the singer showed the devastating effects of his diagnosis as he revealed his eye wouldn’t blink, couldn’t smile and the nostril on the right side of his face wouldn’t move.
He explained: “So there’s complete paralysis on that side of my face. So for those who are frustrated with my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just obviously not physically able to do them. That’s pretty serious, as you can see.’
Earlier this month, sources close to the singer told that his medical team “forced” him to cancel the tour.
“Justin is fragile and has been worn out lately. He was told this had to happen and had no choice,” says an insider.
“He knows that if he doesn’t cancel the remaining tour dates, it could have a terrible impact on his overall health. If he’s not healthy, he has nothing.’
