Kelly Clarkson surprised a street performer in Las Vegas on the way to sound check for her performance at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
The 41-year-old American Idol winner, who recently announced that she is single, shared the funny moment with her fans on Saturday when she posted a clip on Instagram.
Clarkson wrote in the caption to her 7.1 million followers: “I was on my way to sound check for @iHeartRadio in Vegas tonight and tipped off this incredible woman who killed Tina Turner and then she asked me to sing and had no idea who I was.”‘
She added: “And then it hit her and it made my day!” She gives the best hugs and sings loudly! See you tonight, Vegas ❤️ #iHeartFestival2023.”
Kelly appeared casually dressed in the cutout, wearing a black baseball cap, leggings and a long-sleeved shirt.

It appeared the lady, who was wearing jeans and a black and white raglan T-shirt, only realized who Kelly was after listening to her sing a few bars of the tune.
The talk show host reappeared on the photo-sharing app later in the day to promote her upcoming appearance.

A day earlier, Kelly opened up about her love life while interacting with fans on Instagram Live.
The singer, who divorced talent manager Brandon Blackstock last year, said she is happily single.
“Do I have a boyfriend? NO! And don’t look. You know why? “I love being single,” she announced.
The multi-hyphenator emphasized that she has a full house with “two children, two dogs, three rabbits.” [and] a hamster.’

However, with the help of a therapist, she managed to overcome the difficult time.
Kelly and her ex-husband have two children together – daughter River, 9, and son Remington, 7.
