Kevin Costner's Ex Wife Detailed The Items She Will Be Taking From The $145 Million Mansion They Shared

After a scandalous legal battle Christine Baumgartnerex-wife of Kevin Costner, admits the Malibu mansion the two shared for almost 20 years. Ever since the couple officially separated last May, Baumgartner has refused to leave home, despite the prenuptial agreement signed by both parties requiring them to seek alternative residency within 30 days in the event of a divorce.

Christine argued with Costner’s lack of resources and lack of planning to provide a home for their children, but in the end the judge ruled Thomas Anderle stated on July 5 that Christine had to leave the villa by July 31 at the latest.

Following the judge’s words, Baumgartner began his move, complying with Costner’s desperate requests to the judges. However, the fight is not over for now. The actor raised his voice again, assuring that his ex-wife plans to “clean up the house.”

Faced with Costner’s apparent paranoia, Baumgartner replied with photos of all packed items as far as family heirlooms, clothing, a bicycle, souvenirs and gifts from friends are concerned. Photos of the objects were sent to Costner’s attorneys in PDF documents and transferred to a warehouse. However, it appears that Christine has not fully complied with her ex-husband’s request as the other items she has kept are cutlery, kitchen utensils, office chairs, an oil painting and a photo of “mother and daughter” on one horse acts.

In addition to limiting the items that Baumgartner can take out of the mansion, Costner demands more specific information on each of the items his ex-wife plans to take.

“For example, the petitioner lists ‘plates and bowls/cutlery’. without specifying which plates, which bowls and which cutlery. It lists “Christine’s family heirlooms and/or gifts to her,” but You do not indicate what items you believe have been given to you (as opposed to either party or the children),” read the documents released by Costner’s legal team on July 14.

And while Christine’s departure from the mansion is still a hot-button issue, another issue that has made the split a complete mess was the question of child support. Kevin and Christine have three children: Cayden Wyatt 16 years old, Hayes Logan 14 and Grace Avery of 13. Originally, Costner offered $38,000 per month that they would lose weight as their children grew older; Christine declined this offer and demanded $248,000a figure that was even a condition of leaving the villa.

Ultimately, the judge ordered Costner to pay $129,000 per month maintenance for the next four months. Kevin and Christine have a hearing in November to adjust that number.which could increase or at least decrease, depending on what the judge decides in turn.

In those months, the dispute between Costner and Baumgartner over whether to leave the mansion made the headlines, but all indications are that this was just the tip of the iceberg in a legal battle that’s far from over.
