Harry and Meghan Markle are invited to the coronation of King Charles III. According to the British newspaper Daily Telegraph, the two could be present at the ceremony, which will take place on May 6 in London. The couple had previously been advised not to return to England for the event following criticism of the monarchy in the Netflix documentary.
According to Buckingham Palace insiders, Meghan and Harry can attend Charles’ coronation if they wish. They haven’t received a formal invitation to the ceremony yet, but the source said, “All family members are welcome.”
Meghan and Harry were expected not to be invited to the event and left out of the Christmas party. According to palace sources, King Charles III planned to omit the couple from the documentary series because of their lines. The monarch was only waiting for the release of his youngest son’s memoirs to decide on an invitation to the coronation, but he seems to have decided to fly the white flag.
