Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker delighted friends and family when they revealed the gender of their first child together.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the reality star, 44, and the Blink 182 drummer, 47, looked madly in love as they awaited the surprise.
Kourtney accentuated her growing baby bump in a form-fitting top as she perched on Travis’ lap on a platform on which his drum kit was set while a crowd surrounded her.
The drummer demonstrated his impeccable showmanship by playing an expectant part on his snare drum, even though he had to look away as Kourtney leaned in for a long, passionate kiss.
But as soon as he slammed onto his pelvis one last time, a torrent of baby-blue confetti and streamers shot up into the sky, revealing that the lovebirds were about to welcome a boy.

Kourtney wore a skin-tight, long-sleeved white top for the event that hugged her ample figure and showed off the curve of her pregnant belly.
She had tucked the top into white pants and contrasted both with her always chic black bob.
Travis mirrored her in his white tank top and covered his shaved head with a black beanie.
The rocker held his drumsticks with his wife’s arms on either side while she lovingly placed a hand on his free thigh.
The clip was filmed by someone in the crowd with a phone, and the noise of the blustery wind made it hard to hear the lovebirds, but amidst the noise, Travis could be heard saying, “Tell me when you’re ready.”
Then he turned to the side of the stage and asked, “Is our Pyro guy ready?”
“I don’t know what’s happening!” What you guys have planned,” Kourtney added, looking a little uncertain about the procedure.
It’s unclear if either of the parents found out about the baby’s gender before the reveal, or if they were just as shocked as their guests.

Kourtney’s mom, Kris Jenner, clearly couldn’t wait to find out if she was going to have a grandchild or a boy.
“Let’s get the party started, we’re all excited!” she shouted.
When Travis received the all-clear signal, he began rolling his noose, and Kourtney used that signal to tilt her head back and connect her lips to him.
Travis shattered his pelvis as a light explosion erupted from the cannons placed behind them, sending the pale blue streamers into the air.
Hopefully, the couple opted for a biodegradable option or had runners on hand to clean up the mess of their sex reveal, as high winds almost instantly whipped the streamers far from where they originated.
The spectators went wild and erupted in cheers as they saw the color blue against the darker sky.
