Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are filing to legally change baby son’s name to Aire … a year after they scrapped the original Wolf nickname

Kylie Jenner announced in January that she and Travis Scott decided to name their son Aire after dropping his original nickname last year.

And now, according to TMZ, the former couple are applying to legally change the year-old’s name from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.

The outlet reports that both Kylie and Travis agree on the name change and have both signed the petition.

In the legal documents, the duo stated that they “regret Wolf Jacques Webster’s original name choice” and that Aire is “a better fit for their baby.”

“Now that the petitioners have had the opportunity to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is more appropriate.”

Aire was born on February 2, 2022 and is the second child of Kylie and Travis. The exes also share five-year-old daughter Stormi Webster.

Kylie and Travis’ on-off romance began in 2017 after their paths crossed at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, where the rapper was performing.

Less than a year later, they welcomed daughter Stormi on February 1, 2018.

The first split in October 2019 but they remained committed to co-parenting Stormi.

Kylie later referred to the hitmaker as her “best friend” in a 2020 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder also revealed that her and Travis’ mutual love for their daughter inspires them to stay “connected and coordinated.”

After her own parents split in 2015, Kylie said she often references mom Kris and dad Caitlyn’s amicable co-parenting relationship.

“They have been very hands-on with me and I want the same for Stormi.”

It was reported at the time that Kylie and Travis had agreed to share joint custody of their little girl.

The couple reconciled in May 2021 after reconnecting during the COVID-19 lockdown. There were rumors they were dating again in 2020, but Kylie’s nephew Mason Disick shut down speculation during an Instagram Live in May.
