Authorities were called to the building at 2 a.m. Saturday morning amid reports of a shooting at the property.
Officers are now looking for the shooter, who fled the scene, but a description is not yet available.
LAPD officers found three men and one woman on the lobby floor with gunshot wounds.
Their condition is currently unknown, but police confirmed they were taken to hospital and are expected to survive.
