Lady Gaga is being sued by a dog-stealing accomplice for not receiving the $500,000 reward she expected for returning the dogs

Lady Gaga has been sued by the woman accused of stealing her two French bulldogs.

According to TMZ, Jennifer McBride said that Gaga, 36, made it clear she would pay the person who returned her dogs $500,000 “no questions asked.”

The poker face singer announced the reward back in February 2021 after her dogs were kidnapped.

McBride reportedly wants the $500,000 and also wants the court to triple the damages to $1.5 million for offering the misleading reward.

The star’s puppies, Koji and Gustav, were stolen at gunpoint from their dog walker Ryan Fischer in Los Angeles.

The report explained that several men pulled up next to Fischer, jumped out of the car and grabbed the puppies, shooting him dead in the process.

Fischer took all three of the pop star’s puppies for a walk, but the attackers only took two of them.

He was left shot on the sidewalk when neighbors found him and eventually survived his injuries.

LA Assistant District Attorney Michele Hanisee told TMZ McBride was aware the puppies were stolen when she returned them.

Her intention was to receive the reward. She had also known the men involved in the shooting for years.

McBride originally returned the dogs to the American Horror Story actress at the LAPD Olympic Community Station two days after they were taken.

She was later accused of receiving stolen property related to the left.

The woman was later charged with being an accessory to the crime.

Allegedly, McBride was dating the father of one of the men responsible for the crime.

The man who shot Fischer, James Howard Jackson, pleaded no contest to the attempted murder charge and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
