Today is Paola Cortellesi’s birthday and it is perhaps one of the best I have ever celebrated. Because with his first film as a director “There is still another tomorrow”Paola Cortellesi receives praise, Recognitions and much more, consecrating it as a whole Director who writes history in Italian cinema.
His film has already sold in 18 countries, surpassing films like Avatar 2, the latest Hunger Games and many others at the box office. Just yesterday it passed the 20 million mark at the box office, and only seven other Italian directors have achieved this feat as well as her. Today, for his birthdaymany, many people do it Greetings and among these one stands out my friend Laura Pausini.
Birthday wishes from Laura Pausini to Paola Cortellesi
With a carousel on Instagram, Laura Pausini sends her best wishes to Paola CortellesiPublication of a series of photos and videos as well as a personal and warm dedication:
“Today is Paola Cortellesi’s birthday and I think that this year it is time to celebrate her, for many reasons. One of them is their talent and ability to awaken emotions in us, be it joy or intense thought.” The artist writes, who then talks about her film. “This year, Paola wrote, directed and starred in C’è ancora Tomorrow, a film about domestic violence and women’s freedom. A film that would rightly be nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, a film that would be good for the whole world and not just for Italians, who already witness daily violence that leaves us speechless.” Then the sincere story of a beautiful friendship: “Heart, I call her that because she has a big heart, goodness, kindness and an education from other times… It seems strange to me not to be physically with you at this important moment in your life, but I want to wish me wish you all a happy birthday and show you once again what you have achieved with your art and your beautiful soul. I love you. Lau (your heart).” Finally, he concludes with a note: “In the video with Claudio Santamaria you can see a small excerpt from the monologue he had with Paola about “Laura e Paola”. Make sure it stays whole, you won’t regret it.”
“My heart,” comments Paola Cortellesi, certainly happy with these words. Like her, my colleague Giorgia also comments with two hearts and many, many other comments praising the director.
