‘We want to thank her for the energy, insight and humor she brought to this program and look forward to working with her again in the near future.’

A TV insider told The Sun: “Love Island has brought her tremendous attention and a healthy salary package and now she’s going to make the most of that.

“Laura has already indicated that she has other projects in the pipeline and isn’t finding the time to continue with all of her roles.

“So something had to go, and it’s sad for listeners that that’s been jettisoned as she moves forward and upward.”

The Irish star, who is married to Love Island storyteller Iain Stirling and has a daughter with him, launched her weekly program in 2018.

She began 2020 as a presenter on the hit dating show, followed by a deal from Nintendo to appear in one of their ads and a captain’s role on ITV2’s now-cancelled Celebrity Juice.
