The Real Housewives of New York star Louanne de Lesseps has apologized after making a scene at the Townhouse piano bar in New York.
“This week, after a regrettable incident, I was confronted with the truth,” De Lesseps, 56, began her statement on Instagram on Saturday morning.
“I want to apologize to the townhouse staff and anyone I may have offended with my behavior,” she continued. “Obviously my struggle with alcohol is real!”

De Lesseps was arrested in 2017 in Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve for drunkenness and disorderly conduct. She agreed to plead guilty to battery, trespassing and disorderly conduct while intoxicated in exchange for a reduced felony charge against her.

Since then, the reality TV star has publicly battled her addiction, spending time in rehab and continuing to make efforts to maintain her sobriety over the years.
“Although I have made great strides over the years, there have been times when I have fallen. It’s day after day,” she continued. “I’m recovering and taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
De Lesseps was reportedly kicked out of the Townhouse this week after drunkenly causing a riot because she “monopolized the piano” at a popular gay bar.
The reality TV star was reportedly “performing erratic versions of songs” that were so unbearable that “the crowd started booing her”, causing her to yell at the audience, yelling “Fk you!” patrons.
“I am grateful to my family and friends for their continued support, sincerely, LuAnne,” she concluded.
