Love Island fans were convinced Arabella Chi had cheated on her ex Ruben Dias after she apparently “came out” on Wednesday's episode of All Stars.
The 32-year-old model was confirmed as the new Islander at the end of Friday's episode of the ITV show, just days after she was “dumped” by the Manchester City player.
Arabella and 26-year-old footballer Ruben were seen jetting off on holiday together as they arrived at Manchester Airport on New Year's Day after being at the center of romance rumors since September last year.
However, during a date with fellow contestant Tom Clare, the duo discussed that there had been a situation in the summer, but Arabella canceled due to their relationship.
Speaking to Tom, she said: “Obviously we had that situation in the summer and I think we both misinterpreted it.”

After Tom asked her opinion, Arabella continued: “It never really started, it never really ended.”
“It was a situation, and because I was in a relationship, that was obviously the reason why it was just… you really respected that… I think that's probably why you and I broke up, because I up.” was taboo to some extent.”
Arabella did not reveal who she was dating at the time, but before Ruben she was in a relationship with New York businessman and “king of the parties” Richie Akiva, they separated in September 2023 after a brief relationship.
Before their split, they caused a stir when Arabella was spotted hanging out in Ibiza with none other than Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio.
She was spotted enjoying the sun on board Leo's yacht with several of his friends after being met through his pal Richie.
Arabella has also been linked to handsome French rugby player Yoann after they were spotted together at the French Open in June 2023.
The lovebirds put on a cozy display as she whispered tenderly in Yoann's ear while the 36-year-old athlete giggled.
