‘I’m such a hypocrite’: Love Island star Olivia FINALLY admits her reaction to Kai’s reunion was unwarranted after finding a new partner of her own
Love Island star Olivia Hawkins has finally admitted her reaction to Kai’s relink was unwarranted, explaining her Sunday night Movie Night antics.
Olivia, who was recently kicked out of the mansion along with her new partner Maxwell Samuda, was furious after Kai hooked up with newcomer Sanam Harrinanan from Casa Amor, despite being hooked up with someone else herself.
Returning to the main mansion, she shared her thoughts with Kai, saying, “It’s very enlightening, it’s very enlightening. I can’t say I’m shocked.
“Do you already miss me? Obviously not enough, his loss, my gain.’
Speaking to Aftersun with Maxwell in her first interview after the couple was axed, she said, “Let me just say, I’ve watched that clip and I’m raising my hands: I’m such a hypocrite.

Footage from her film “Liv Actually” showed her forgetting Kai’s name and badmouthing the girls, shocking the other islanders.
She said: “Early days. I forgot his name, Kai. No, because it’s like a new landscape.’
Other comments included telling Max that Claudia was too quick to forgive Casey for kissing other girls during Casa Amor.
But a determined Olivia remained completely undisturbed, responding to the videos at the time by telling the others: “No, because there’s nothing I wouldn’t say.
“If you have any questions, come see me afterwards.”
People were confused as to why her foul language wasn’t discussed during the show, but she revealed on Aftersun that she had already spoken to her co-stars before Movie Night took place.
She said: “On the movie night, none of the girls reacted because I told them that day that I think they forgave the boys way too quickly. I wouldn’t do anything differently.
“I feel like I’ve stayed true to myself.”
It comes after Love Island viewers joked that Olivia will break up with Maxwell at the airport after both were kicked out of the villa following the public vote.
Previously, the ring girl is said to have been playing a game at the South African mansion when she teamed up with Maxwell at Casa Amor to dump Kai.
Long dubbed the show’s “bad guy,” fans couldn’t wait for Olivia to leave the show.
Olivia and Maxwell had received word they were heading home on Wednesday night after host Maya Jama rolled into the villa for a dump.
Viewers now can’t wait to see how long the couple will stay together before they part ways.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
