Despite another great performance from Marie-Philip Poulin, Montreal lost to Toronto 4-3 in a shootout at the Auditorium de Verdun on Saturday night.
The Montreal captain sent both teams into overtime by scoring her second goal with 22 seconds left in the game. She taunted several opponents before defeating Kristen Campbell.

Despite having a numerical advantage in overtime, the Montrealers couldn't find the error and it was ultimately Lauriane Rougeau who gave the Queen City club the victory.
Montreal scored first in the first period thanks to Sarah Bujold's first goal of the season. Jocelyne Laroque equalized for Toronto early in the second period.
After Poulin's first success of the game, Maggie Connors once again brought the two teams on level terms and the visitors even thought they would leave Montreal with a win in regulation time as Natalie Spooner had put her team ahead 3-2. with 1:24 remaining in the game.
In the loss, Ann-Renée Desbiens had a solid performance, making 36 saves.
Montreal will return to action on Wednesday against Minnesota at the Xcel Energy Center.
