Married At First Sight’s Duncan James has been rocked by claims he was caught texting his ex-girlfriend while filming the show.
Woman’s Day reports that Duncan, 36, met his former partner during the social experiment while he was already dating mother-of-one Alyssa Barmonde on the show.
However, sources close to the cybersecurity expert have dismissed the claims, telling Chron Australia: “The rumors are utter bullshit, it’s utter rubbish.”
According to the friend, Duncan last spoke to his ex to “let her know he’s going on the show and that’s where things ended.”

Woman’s Day reports that Duncan, 36, caught up with his former partner during the social experiment while he was already dating mother-of-one Alyssa Barmonde (pictured).
“Duncan is actually really good friends with almost all of his ex-boyfriends. There’s no bad blood in anyone,” they continued.
It comes after a source told the publication that the pair were engaged in a heated argument behind the scenes after Alyssa caught him contacting his ex-girlfriend.
“It’s been a tough pill for Alyssa, especially considering she’s falling for him,” the source said.

“Dunc hasn’t had any contact with his ex since filming,” they claimed. According to the friend, the TV groom last spoke to the ex to “let her know he’s going on the show”.

“They really fought about it, and it made it difficult to stay involved with the experiment as he didn’t seem to think it was a problem.”
The magazine claimed “Alyssa is upset” about the whole situation and close friends described the situation as a “big red flag” – after he refused to remove photos of his ex from his social media account.
The handsome groom has since downplayed the situation, telling friends there was “no argument between the two”.
