No domestic violence charges have reportedly been filed against Marcus Rashford's sports agent brother in the US.
According to a report from The Sun, Dane Rashford allegedly attacked his girlfriend after discovering messages from an unnamed Premier League star during an incident in Miami last October.
Dane, 31 – a director of DN May Sports Management – whose clients include United star Rashford, was arrested before pleading not guilty to assault and held on bail of £1,200 (US1,500). -Dollar) was released, which was paid for by his sister Chantelle Maynard.
The incident has now been described as a “misunderstanding”, with a source telling the Telegraph that Dane didn't even appear in court and the charges have now been dismissed.
“There have been numerous reports that Dane Rashford, the brother of Manchester United and England footballer Marcus Rashford, was arrested in Florida last year,” said a statement from lawyer Alex Spiro.

“We would like to make it clear that the charges were quickly dismissed and Mr Rashford did not even have to appear in court.” “He and his partner are pleased that this misunderstanding is now finally behind them.”
The report adds that the Rashford family now considers the matter resolved.
It was alleged that in the early hours of October 20, staff at the Kimpton Angler's Hotel saw a woman walking through the lobby with a bloody nose.
When officers arrived outside Room 335, they heard a “verbal altercation” between a man and a woman they identified as 31-year-old Rashford and Andrea Pocrnja, the mother of his 14-month-old child.
According to the report, the pair were on their way back from trendy Miami nightspot E11 even when the brother of Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford “searched the victim's phone and found text messages from her and another man.”

“The arrestee stated that he pushed the victim while they were in the Uber,” the report states.
Pocrnja was lying on the bed crying and had “visible injuries on her face,” it said.
“The victim stated that the arrestee hit her twice in the face with his clenched fist. The arrestee then got out of the Uber and left with the victim's phone.
“Once the victim was in her hotel room, the arrestee entered the hotel room and a verbal altercation ensued over the text messages he had seen on her phone.
“The victim was on the phone with the front desk to get the Wi-Fi password so she could deactivate her phone, which the arrestee had at the time.”
It is now understood that the Rashford family consider the matter “resolved” following the incident last October

“The arrestee assumed that the victim called the police and a physical altercation ensued, the details of which she cannot remember because she was drunk.”
The report states that Maynard was babysitting the couple's toddler and that both she and the child were in the hotel room when the collision occurred.
She witnessed her brother becoming angry, kicking a closet door and causing visible damage.
But “the witness stated that at no time did she see the arrestee strike the victim,” the complaint states.
Rashford was taken to prison at 3:30 a.m., while Pocrnja – who has been dating Rashford for four years and lives with him in Wilmslow, just outside Manchester in northwest England – was taken to another hotel room because she was ” felt “unsafe”.
The complaint adds that her injuries were photographed by police and she was treated by a first responder. There is no mention of her being taken to the hospital.
