Margot Robbie was roasted by fans at the SAG Awards for her Barbie-inspired 'Doona' dress: 'Why do they keep doing this to her?'

Margot Robbie sent fans into a frenzy on Saturday when she attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards in a stunning dress inspired by her Barbie role.

The 33-year-old Australian actress turned heads as she arrived at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. She wore a black Schiaparelli dress made from dramatic pink fabric that wrapped around her shoulders and waist and trailed off into a train.

Many of her fans took to social media to criticize the unique design.

“Why do they keep doing this to her?” one asked, while a second person added: “She doesn't look comfortable.”

“This is the most WTF dress I've seen in a long time,” chimed in a third person.

“She wrapped an eight-year-old's duvet around her and said, 'Let's go,' another added, while a fan quipped: 'You must subconsciously hate one of the most beautiful women in the world to dress her like that, absolutely disgraceful.'

“I can't believe I'm saying this, but this may be the worst look I've ever seen on Margot – I mean WTF is this growth/doona effect coming out of her black body,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, others defended her style choice, with one fan claiming the Australian star “looks great in everything.”
