The 54-year-old We Belong Together singer, who recently released a surprise music video for the hit “All I Want For Christmas,” smiled happily as she left Salon de Ning at the Peninsula Hotel.
The performer wore a black, low-cut shirt that was tucked into the waist of a black leather miniskirt.
She paired the monochrome look with a black Chanel sweater that shimmered in the bright lights.
Carey slipped on a pair of sheer black tights and closed-toe black heels and added $1,050 Chanel leg warmers for a luxe look.

The star dazzled in a figure-hugging, strapless red dress that hugged her body and included a skirt that cascaded down and hugged her.
Her long hair was parted in the middle and fell in elegant curls over her shoulders.
She added sparkly silver drop earrings and chunky, sparkly bracelets to complete the overall look for the concert.

During her appearance on Good Morning America, she discussed the tour, explaining, “Last year we didn't drive across the country. So we're doing that this year.”
The Grammy winner expressed that she wanted to give her fans “the merriest Christmas” when it came to her holiday concerts where they “enjoy being together.”

Speaking to GMA, she also reflected on the song's legacy and reminisced about the creation of the track.
“I was working on it alone… on this little Casio keyboard, writing down words and thinking, 'What am I thinking about at Christmas? What do I love? What I want? “What am I dreaming about?”’ she explained. “And that’s where it all started.”
“My goal was to make something timeless so it didn't feel like the '90s when I wrote it.”
