Married At First Sight star Lyndall Grace has responded to Cameron Wood’s vows that never aired.
In Monday’s episode, the 27-year-old brutally denied her TV husband Cameron a chance to read his own vows after he announced she was ending their marriage, but on Tuesday he put her in the Kyle and Jackie O show off
Just moments later, Lyndall spoke to WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda and heard the outback carpenter’s vows for the first time.
She dismissed his claims that she was to blame for their lack of communication as a couple.
“I mean, my experience with conflict was that I was constantly trying to bring up issues and talk them through,” she told radio hosts Brendan “Jonesy” Jones and Amanda Keller.
“And his immediate reaction was to end the call and really just leave the room.”
The Perth accountant continued: “I knew the communication wasn’t healthy and I knew we had a massive problem resolving this conflict. But I needed someone who was willing to sit with me and weather the storm in these tough conversations, and not just walk out and then never speak to them again.
Elsewhere, Lyndall revealed to 9Entertainment the real reason she didn’t let Cameron take his last vows.
“If my only crime in the experiment was not letting Cam take his vows, I’m totally fine with that,” she said.
“I gave him every opportunity to say otherwise or to come up in a meaningful way for me and I don’t think his vows would have changed my mind at all.

“I don’t think they would have made me feel any better.”
But Cameron disagreed, saying he had “really nice things to say in his final vows.”
Cameron’s speech began by recalling the blissful early days of their marriage.
“From the moment I saw you, there was an instant connection,” he said.

“You had the warmest smile on your face walking down the aisle and I quickly learned that you love life as much as I do. I felt that spark from day one and was very excited to learn more about it,” he added.
Recalling the friendship with Lyndall during their honeymoon on Fraser Island, he described how he soon realized his wife was quite a catch.
“I thought it was great that we had common interests. You are an incredible singer and I really admire your enthusiasm for life and the way you love your loved ones,” he said.
Cameron then attacked Lyndall for “airing her dirty laundry,” telling her it “pressed its buttons” as she opened up about her troubles at the dinner parties, engagement ceremonies, and homestays. In one particularly brutal line, he explained, “I think those things flow naturally when you’re in love…which I’m not

“The more I learn about you, the more I respect you. You are kind, sensitive and have a very sincere heart. You always bring a positive vibe to any room.”
Cameron praised Lyndall for teaching him “the importance of being vulnerable in love,” adding, “You made me comfortable opening up when I was always struggling with it.”
But his tone changed when he spoke about the dark side of their relationship.
Cameron pointed out the logistical issues they would face as a couple as he is based in the Northern Territory and accountant Lyndall lives in Western Australia.
In an unprecedented turn of events, she then cut him off before he could deliver his own speech, stating that her life “doesn’t involve” him or his feelings.
During her speech, Lyndall emphasized her resilience and newfound zest for life, stating she refuses to be held back by her condition – or by Cam
He said communication and the way they deal with conflict are major issues in their marriage, explaining, “They say I can’t sit down and talk through difficult times, but you never asked the question because you were afraid of the answer.”
Cameron then attacked Lyndall for “airing her dirty laundry,” telling her it “pressed its buttons” as she opened up about her troubles at the dinner parties, engagement ceremonies, and homestays.
In a particularly brutal way, he explained: “Throughout this whole experiment, you needed more affection, validation and emotion from me.
“I took the time to think about why I couldn’t give this to you. I think those things flow naturally when you fall in love…which I’m not.
Then, as Cam reached for his speech notes, Lyndall interrupted, “Um, before you start, yeah? That’s the only reason I have the feeling that no matter what you say today, it will only disappoint me again.
Cameron ended his speech on a positive note, thanking Lyndall for teaching him to be vulnerable and helping him see what he wanted out of a relationship.

“I came to this experiment with the simple goal of finding love,” she began her vows.
A smashed Cam responded by throwing his speech at her on the floor and snapping, “Then you can have this.”
“For most of my life, being married, having a partner, and planning for the future have been pipe dreams that I’ve been guilty of,” she added, referring to her struggles with cystic fibrosis and how it has affected her self-esteem affected.
“I thought because I have cystic fibrosis, I could never be someone’s eternal human.”
Lyndall went on to describe their initial connection, reminiscing about their wedding day and how Cam made her comfortable.

But the tone changed as she opened up about the negative aspects of their romance, accusing Cameron of emotionally withdrawing and not being able to handle confrontations.
“In our first few weeks together, you could barely take the slightest criticism and constantly walked away from tough conversations and left me to pick up the pieces,” she said.
During her speech, Lyndall emphasized her resilience and newfound zest for life, stating she refuses to be held back by her condition – or by Cameron.
