Married At First Sight’s Tayla Winter Slams Channel Nine for Claiming “Unfavorable Editing”.

Tayla Winter has spoken out on Channel Nine, claiming that she was misrepresented and trapped in her hotel during her time on Married At First Sight.

The TV bride, who appeared in the 2023 season, told The Daily Telegraph that she didn’t recognize herself on the show because of the way it was cut.

“You’re preparing for an awkward edit, but you still feel like you have some control over how you’re portrayed,” she said.

“When the context is removed, your audio is cut and pasted to create conversations,” Tayla continued.

“Your facial expressions and reactions are very different from what actually happened.”

Tayla also claims that she wasn’t allowed to leave the Sky Suites in Sydney during parts of the shooting schedule.

“During the first three days at Sky Suites I was told that I was not allowed to leave the apartment. “I felt like I was going insane,” she said.

The 27-year-old claims she called her mum to say she was locked up at the hotel due to the “controlled” shooting schedule.

“She said, ‘Tayla, you can go, they can’t keep you there,'” she explained.

Among her allegations, the reality star says the producers asked her to “do certain facial expressions,” which were then taken out of context.

She also claims that the participants were not protected from online bullying and harassment and were “gagged” when the network took control of the participants’ social media accounts.

A Nine spokesman told The Daily Telegraph that psychological support will be offered to all participants.

“Nine also offer an additional service to participants should they want or need further individual and confidential psychological support,” she said.

“I ice my face because I’m so swollen from crying all night,” she said through tears.

“This show, this experiment … I can’t do it.” It’s cruel. My mind just doesn’t feel like it’s all right afterwards.

Tayla said the biggest struggle at MAFS was the manipulation and twisting of her words, which made her feel like she couldn’t trust anyone.

“This constant feeling of not knowing if I can trust someone or say something because it’s being manipulated.” And that’s happened to me a lot,” she explained.

“It was like it was totally taken out of context or like rumors were totally born out of nowhere.” And it was hard because I just felt like half the time I couldn’t even project what I was saying wanted.”

Tayla is aware of the challenges between her and Cam on the long-distance but remains hopeful for her future
