Mega Millions jumps to $640 million after no winner in Friday’s game

After nobody across the country scooped up Friday’s $560 million win, Tuesday’s jackpot jumped to a staggering $640 million.

According to Mega Millions, the prize is the seventh largest in the game’s history and the cash value is estimated at $328 million.

The numbers drawn on Friday night were 10-24-48-51-66 with a Megaball of 15. The multiplier was 2X.

The next draw will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at 11:00pm ET.

While no one took home the grand prize on Friday, a $2 million ticket sold in South Carolina and three tickets sold in California and Northern California went to the second row winners.

There were 50 tickets across the country with four white balls and the Megaball to win third prize. Five of these tickets are worth $20,000 each as they also include the optional Megaplier; The other 45 win the standard $10,000 each.

The last Mega Millions jackpot winning ticket was sold on April 14th and contained all six correct numbers to win the top prize of $483 million or $256.9 million in cash.

The probability of hitting the grand prize jackpot is 1 in 292.2 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per game. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The deadline for purchasing tickets is 9:45 p.m. on draw evenings.
