Miley Cyrus opens up about her intense work schedule as a teenager

(CNN) –– Miley Cyrus told us what her work schedule was like during her teenage years.

In the latest video from her TikTok series “Used to Be Young,” Cyrus read a travelogue from when she was around 12 or 13 years old and starred in “Hannah Montana.”

Cyrus said she would wake up at 5:30 a.m. to do her hair and makeup, and then a long day would begin with press events, photo shoots, meetings and also school. She often had to work on weekends and then rest for a day before re-recording “Hannah Montana,” the singer added.

“I suffer from many things, but laziness is not one of them,” Cyrus said. “I think this girl deserves an endless summer vacation.”

Cyrus is now in charge and has decided she won’t be touring for Endless Summer Vacation, the album she released in March.

The artist explained her decision on Instagram last May.

“Doing shows for you has been one of the best times of my life and we will continue this journey together, just as we have for the last two decades,” he said of his decision not to tour. “It has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation from fans and more to do with the fact that I just don’t feel like preparing in a dressing room, which is the reality of life on tour.” It’s not the best for me at the moment, and If you’ve followed my career, you know that I’m constantly changing and that my attitude towards it can change too. I love her forever.
