A pig named Kevin Bacon who spent more than two weeks on the run in Pennsylvania is finally home thanks to some sticky buns, Benadryl and a greeting from his namesake, actor Kevin Bacon.

Chelsea Rumbaugh brought the 2-year-old, 200-pound Juliana pig home to her Cumberland Township farm on Oct. 13 — but the next day, the troublesome bastard had dug under his pen and escaped, she previously wrote on a Facebook post Page titled “Bring Kevin Home.”

“We were so close [to Kevin] “My 16 year old petted him,” Rumbaugh wrote on the page. “He stayed nearby but eventually disappeared into the forest.”

Over the next two weeks, the pig roamed the area’s woods, sometimes appearing at neighbors’ homes, but managed to evade capture.

Rumbaugh started the Facebook page to alert local hunters and ask neighbors to help find Kevin. The page soon gained traction, attracting thousands of followers concerned about the pig.

When award-winning actor Kevin Bacon found out about the loose pig, he jumped in to spread the word, posting on Meta’s Threads app: “Bring Kevin home!”

Kevin the pig was constantly wandering near his home but would scurry away when anyone came near.

“Kevin and I have been singing and dancing since 8:30 a.m.,” Rumbaugh wrote on Oct. 30, the day before he was recaptured.

“He comes closer, I wait, then I approach him, he trots away. He didn’t even ask to dance, he just thought it was funny I guess,” she wrote.

Frustrated, Rumbaugh decided to put Benadryl on a sticky bun in hopes that Kevin would fall asleep.

“Benadryl sticky bun was eaten and now I’m looking for a passed out pig somewhere. We saw him in the yard at 6:40 a.m. so I hope he’s around,” she posted on Tuesday.

Hours later, she posted a picture of Kevin in his pen: “He’s home.”

Kevin is now getting used to his new home and is making contact with his peers. He will spend his time relaxing and eating some snacks, she said.

Rumbaugh also said she is considering writing a series of children’s books based on Kevin’s adventures.

The Facebook page has since been renamed “Kevin’s Home Adventures” and documents his everyday escapades on the farm.
