Did SPDM investigator Maxime Dubois, played by Mathieu Baron, die during the Marché du Center shootout at the end of the first season of?Untenable? The answer will come at the start of Monday’s episode, the first of season two.
Whatever happens, Maxime’s blonde defense attorney Marie-Anne Desjardins (Anne-Élisabeth Bossé), new partner at Lapointe, MacDonald & Desjardins, will emerge shaken from this incident involving a fake cop who opened fire on innocent people.

If we can’t talk about Maxime so as not to give anything away after watching the first four episodes of the season – which begins with new credits – the fact remains that people were shot, including the owner of the cafe where the Filming takes place a 23-year-old Nico (Anthony Parent-Castanha), whose parents are played by Guy Jodoin and Lynda Johnson. Jodoin plays SPDM police officer Jean-Pierre Gendron, who is part of the psychosocial emergency support team.
The team is already upset by the return of Mr. Frédéric Legrand (Martin-David Peters), who, as we now know, is not dead. Maxime’s fate also increases the stress in the atmosphere. The beginning of the investigation brings back the investigator Marcoux (Julie Deslauriers), who we knew in the hit-and-run case of the young Magloire last year.
A first occasion for Inès
It is time for Inès Saïd (Nour Belkhiria) to defend her first cause, although she remains shaken by the return of Me Legrand, the witness to his “death” when he was shot in front of the cabinet. The young 25-year-old lawyer’s client is a 33-year-old woman, Stéphanie Hervieux (Sasha Migliarese), who is accused of shoplifting.

The defendant stole baby food and chicken from a single mother – she has four children aged 3 months to 8 years – to feed her offspring. The problem is that this isn’t her first offense. Inès faces Crown Prosecutor Duguay (Paul Doucet) and Judge Duclos (Carl Béchard), nicknamed “the Cannibal” for good reason!
A strong scene between Inès and Me Legrand in the cemetery stands out. Nour Belkhiria shows her great talent.
We see Léo MacDonald (Sébastien Delorme) more often in the office during this high-intensity first week. Let’s say we are happy about the return of Indefensible and its very interesting concerns.
André Lapointe (Michel Laperrière) is happy to see his daughter Karine, who lives in London. However, he was disappointed because he didn’t get the news he wanted.

André, Léo and Marie-Anne have to decide whether to give Legrand a second chance and whether he can find his old position that was promised to Marie-Anne.
Produced by Pixcom in collaboration with Quebecor Content, the daily Indéfendable will air on TVA from September 11, Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m.
