Taylor Swift led the way when she won four gongs at the MTV EMAs at Düsseldorf’s PSD Bank Dome in Germany on Sunday.
The 32-year-old singer won Best Video and Best Long Form Video for her 10-minute version of All Too Well (Taylor’s Version), beating global stars like Foo Fighters and Stormzy.
Her video for the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at London’s Wembley Stadium was also nominated for Best Long Form Video.

Elsewhere, Taylor was named the winner of the Best Female Artist category, the Best Pop award, while also being nominated in the Biggest Fans section, which was won by BTS.
Accepting the first award from John Lennon’s son and singer Julian, who presented the award, she said: “It’s so good to be back at the EMAs. You all look very beautiful tonight.”
The singer-songwriter continued, “I’ve been writing and directing my music video for a long time, but this was the first short film I’ve made and I felt like I learned as much about myself as I did about filmmaking can be a natural extension of my storytelling as well as the songwriting.’

Taylor also thanked actors Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink, who starred in the music video, and commended her fans for their continued support, adding, “You are the reason everything happened to me.”
The track went viral earlier this year after fans speculated that the song was based on Taylor’s split from actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
It also won the prestigious Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year.

Hosted by singer-songwriter Rita Ora, the celebrity power couple, and Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi, this year’s awards ceremony marks the sixth time the awards ceremony has been held in Germany.
It’s the first time the pair have been working together, having mostly kept their partnership out of the spotlight since they first sparked romance rumors last year after appearing side by side on red carpets.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj won the Best Song award for her track Super Freaky Girl, while DJ David Guetta and singer Bebe Rexha took first place in the Best Collaboration category with their hit song I’m Good (Blue).
Nicki was also named the winner of the Best Hip-Hop category.

The winner of the Best New Award was boy band Seventeen, while Lisa took home Best K-Pop Gong.
Anitta was named the winner of the Best Latin Award. David Guetta triumphed in the Best Electronic category.
The band Muse triumphed in the Best Rock category, while the Gorillaz won the Best Alternative award.
Sam Smith and Kim Petras won the Video For Good category for promoting their song Unholy.
BLACKPINK X PUBG won in the Best Metaverse Performance category for their in-game concert experience, while former One Direction singer Harry Styles won Best Live.
Rita Ora returned as MTV EMAs host this year alongside her husband Taika Waititi, five years after making her debut as a presenter in 2017.

It marked her third time taking the stage to perform at the coveted event as she sang at this year’s ceremony with the likes of Bebe Rexha, Gorillaz and David Guetta.
Other acts taking part in a night of incredible performances included Ava Max and Muse, as well as Scottish sensation Lewis Capaldi, who made his EMAs debut.
The performances didn’t end there as Stormzy, GAYLE, OneRepublic, Kalush Orchestra, SPINALL, Äyanna and Nasty C also performed.
Entertainment flowed at regular intervals as the stars of the music world received awards during the glittering event.
Fans voted for their favorite artists in 19 gender-neutral categories.
Harry Styles led the nominations with seven nominations including Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video from his hit album Harry’s House.

He was followed by pop icon Taylor Swift, who also stood out from the crowd with six nominations that year.
Taylor received an award for Best Longform Video, a brand new MTV EMA 2022 category.
The two chart-topping artists also garnered Best Local Act nominations in their respective home regions: the UK and Ireland and the US.
Nicki Minaj and ROSALÍA each received five nominations and both competed for Best Song and Best Artist.
First-time nominees hoping for a win included Chencho Corleone, GAYLE, Stephen Sanchez, Dove Cameron, Doechii, Baby Keem, Kim Petras, Mae Muller, Saucy Santana, Shenseea, Summer Walker and Wet Leg.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on MTV in more than 170 countries on November 13th and will be available worldwide on November 14th on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. This year, Germany is hosting the event for the sixth time.
