Nancy Meyers and Netflix have split.
The 73-year-old director of ‘Parent Trap’ was set to direct a new romantic comedy for the streamer but they couldn’t agree on the budget, sources told .
The company capped her at $130 million, according to the report, but the filmmaker asked for $150 million.
The strip had Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Michael Fassbender and Owen Wilson in talks to star.
The rom-com’s name was reportedly Paris Paramount, and Meyers was set to write, direct and produce the feature.
The project was announced last year, and the storyline would have chronicled a young writer-director falling head over heels in love with a film producer.
The Post has reached out to Meyers for comment.

The synopsis is semi-autobiographical for Meyers, as she was married to director Charles Shyer for almost two decades.
The duo have worked on some iconic comedies over the years such as Private Benjamin, Baby Boom and Father of the Bride.

The film would have been Meyer’s first film since 2015’s Anne Hathaway-Robert De Niro rom-com The Intern.
In December 2022, Meyers responded to rumors of a sequel to her popular 2006 film The Holiday.

But she shot down any chatter about a second installment on social media at the time, saying: “So many DMs about it – sorry but it’s not true.”
It was previously reported that the possible sequel had returning stars Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black on board, with production set to begin earlier this year.
The Titanic star, 47, also separately denied there is a sequel to The Holiday.
“I read about it, but it’s the first time I’m hearing about it,” Winslet said said people at that time. “I promise you no agent or representative or anyone from the first round spoke to me about this. Hand on heart, that has never happened before.”
