The Montreal-North native scored just nine points in 27 minutes. Bennedict Mathurin has averaged 17.6 points per game since the start of the season.

His teammate Myles Turner somehow tried to help his team win that match by 27 points, but it wasn’t enough. The other top scorers on the roster, Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield, finished with just 16 and 15 points, respectively.

For their part, the visitors could count on a good collective performance with Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro and Donavan Mitchell, who finished the meeting with 24, 20 and 19 points respectively.

The Cavaliers took the lead midway through the second quarter and never worried after that.

The Pacers’ next game is on February 8 in Miami against the Heat.
