Carine Durrieu-Diebolt, who is already defending actress Charlotte Arnould, alleged victim of rape that led to the indictment of Gérard Depardieu in December 2020, has confirmed that she has forwarded this new complaint to the Paris prosecutor's office for sexual assault, harassment and sexist riots.
When asked, the Paris prosecutor's office could not confirm the filing of the lawsuit and Mr. Depardieu's lawyer did not comment.
According to Me Durrieu-Diebolt, the facts date back to 2021 and are not time-barred. They would have appeared in Paris during the filming of the film “Les Shutters Vertes” directed by Jean Becker.
The woman who denounced these facts was called Amélie and was 53 years old. She was a production designer on set.
According to his report in the online newspaper Mediapart, which reveals this new affair, the Cyrano de Bergerac actor is said to have made numerous sharp-tongued remarks during filming in Paris on September 10, 2021 and later allegedly “grabbed her with brutality” and “kneaded her waist, her stomach and went up to her breasts.”
The denounced attack was allegedly interrupted by the actor's bodyguards.
According to Mediapart, another woman, Sarah, 33 years old and third assistant director on the same shoot, accuses Mr. Depardieu of touching her twice “on the breast and buttocks” on August 31, 2021, while still in Paris.
In addition to his indictment over alleged facts dating back to August 2018, Mr. Depardieu is the subject of a preliminary investigation in Paris over sexual assault in 2014, which an assistant denounced during a filming when he was 24.
