NFL: a loss for the Cowboys against the Packers

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a real disappointment when they suffered a tough 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

The Packers did what no team in the NFL has done this season: beat the Cowboys at home. In fact, the Texans won their eight regular-season games at their home stadium in Arlington.

Star quarterback Dak Prescott's performance was like that of his teammates: very disappointing. The latter had a more than complicated game, especially in the first half, where he only managed 87 yards through the air and also had two interceptions.

One of them led directly to a Packers touchdown at the end of the second quarter. Darnell Savage intercepted Prescott's pass before making a 64-yard run to reach the Dallas end zone.

The Packers' offense tormented the Cowboys' defense, scoring seven total touchdowns. Running back Aaron Jones had a successful afternoon, as evidenced by his three majors and 118 yards rushing.

Prescott's opponent, Jordan Love, was involved in three touchdowns for his team. He finished the game with 16 successful passes on 21 attempts for 272 yards.

The Cowboys attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter when Jake Ferguson scored two touchdowns (three total for the game) in just over two minutes, but the damage was already done. Tony Pollard also provided the answer for his team.
