Nothing is going well for the Edmonton Oilers, who suffered another loss at Rogers Place on Saturday, this time against the Nashville Predators by a score of 5-2.
Ryan O’Reilly took matters into his own hands for the Predators (5-6-0) starting in the second period. After 23 seconds he received a rebound from Filip Forsberg and scored. About three minutes later, the former Toronto Maple Leafs got the red light on the power play before completing their hat trick in the final period.

However, things started well for the Oilers (2-7-1), who scored first thanks to Darnell Nurse. However, they didn’t hold onto their one-goal lead for long, as the “Preds” equalized 25 seconds later thanks to Forsberg.
As the only lights on the field, Jay Woodcroft’s team scored two goals on the power play.
In goal, Jack Campbell had another complicated game, allowing five goals on 27 shots he faced.
Edmonton, which faces the Vancouver Canucks on Monday, is already five points out of eighth place in the Western Conference. The Predators will travel to Calgary to play the Flames on Tuesday night.
The Jets are coming from behind
After trailing 2-0, the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Arizona Coyotes 5-3 by scoring three unanswered goals late in the second period.
Like O’Reilly, Nino Niederreiter scored three goals. Linemates Mason Appleton and Adam Lowry each had two assists. Defenseman Brenden Dillon also made two plays.
JJ Moser, Liam O’Brien and Lawson Crouse responded for the Coyotes.
