Nick Carter would be prosecuted for sexual assault

Nick Carter, a member of the famous group Backstreet Boys, would be prosecuted for sexual assault, according to documents obtained by the website TMZ.

The alleged incidents allegedly happened in 2001 and involved a 17-year-old woman at the time.

The singer’s entourage assures TMZ that the incident never happened.

According to the documents, Nick Carter invited Shannon Ruth to get on the band’s tour bus after a concert in Tacoma, Washington.

The teenager, who has autism and cerebral palsy, was offered a “VIP juice” by the singer. She thought it tasted strange but, according to the documents, would have drunk it out of courtesy.

Shannon Ruth, now an adult, believes he served her a mixture of cranberry juice and alcohol, reports TMZ.

The documents then describe the sexual assault that would have victimized the teenager.

The singer allegedly took her to the bus toilet, asked her to perform oral sex, and then continued the assault on a bed.

Documents viewed by TMZ mention that doctors say the teenager contracted HPV after the events. She claims she was a virgin before the alleged attack.

A source close to the singer denied the allegations.

“This allegation is completely false, Nick is focused on his family and mourning the loss of his brother,” the source told TMZ.
