O hundred days egg is also known as Centennial Egg, Millennial Egg or how preserved egg. 🥚 Original and traditional in Chinese culture, the Hundred Days Egg does not have a welldefined origin in literature. 🤨 However, some legends say that the delicacy came about when a Chinese discovered that buried eggs had changed color and taste around 600 years ago. Other studies show that eggs arose from an attempt to increase time egg preservation for consumption in times of food shortages.
