North West, Kim and Kanye’s daughter, has given her first solo interview to iD magazine. Famous before she was born, the 10-year-old girl appeared in her first fashion editorial at just a few months old, posing for the pages of Vogue with her parents.
Kanye himself later admitted that he was obsessed with the idea of turning his firstborn into a style icon that could outshine Rihanna even in the first phase of her life. So it’s no surprise that North has a passion for fashion in his blood.
However, she has a goal in mind that goes far beyond becoming the umpteenth influencer with a well-known last name. One day he wants to unite his parents’ empires, if his father’s empire manages to survive the outbreaks and scandals that cost him his contracts with Adidas and Gap.
“One day I want to own Yeezy and Skims and be a businesswoman,” she revealed. What he didn’t mention is the role he reserved in this plan for his three younger brothers: Chicago, five, Saint, seven, and Psalm, four.
Until then, he’s content with earning some money from dog walking to finance his hobbies.
“When I’m about thirteen, I want to walk dogs to earn money to buy art supplies because everything is very expensive here.”
He inherited his talent for music from Kanye and his interest in makeup and the world of beauty from Kim. North was responsible for putting the finishing touches on the hairstyles and took care of combing her “baby hair” herself into a very eye-catching design for the photo session that accompanied her interview.
And despite everything, his mother insists that he live as normal a life as possible. That’s why he carefully controls his access to social networks and his statements on TikTok, where he allowed the opening of an account a long time ago. Kim didn’t mind North using this platform to reveal that she is dyslexic, but advised her not to reveal too much information about it.
