Pico Island
The island of Pico in the Azores archipelago is home to Portugal’s highest mountain, a 2,351meterhigh volcano that has helped create beautiful, rugged and, in the truest sense of the word, intoxicating landscapes.
Delicious wines are made there in an extraterrestrial environment: the volcanic soil is dark, hard, stony. The contrast is created by the wild horizon: on one side the blue sea, on the other green hills.
