Oath to King Charles III: The PQ trio in the program “Le monde à l’envers”

The leader of the Parti Québécois, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, will appear on the set of Stéphan Bureau in Monde à l’envers this Friday to talk about his refusal to grant King Charles III. to swear allegiance, which delayed his entrance to the Blue Hall of the National Assembly.

Bill 4, which aims to make taking the oath to the King of England optional, is due to be passed this Friday and elected PQ members are unhappy as they are unlikely to be able to sit in until Christmas.

Mr St-Pierre-Plamondon, Camille-Laurin’s deputy, will be accompanied to the ‘world upside down’ by his party’s other two MEPs, Joël Arseneau and Pascal Bérubé.

For the latter, ahead of the holidays, Le monde à l’envers will welcome Jean-Marc Généreux from Révolution as guest of the week and Xavier Dolan, director of the series The Night Laurier Gaudreault Woke Up, available at Club illico, in the interview.

Yasmine Abdelfadel, Biz, Serge Denoncourt and Sophie Durocher will be the four collaborators this week to discuss various hot topics.

“Le monde à l’envers” is broadcast live on TVA every Friday at 8 p.m. After the holidays, the show will be back on the air from January 13th.
