Corey Perry was at the center of the Edmonton Oilers' 4-3 overtime victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday at American Airlines Center.
The former Montreal Canadiens forward, who joined the Oilers in January, was involved in his team's first goal early in the second period before lighting up the red light a few minutes later by intercepting Connor McDavid's pass in front of the net Stars fended off.

In addition to Evan Bouchard's winning goal (his second of the game) in overtime, the game's six other goals came in the second period. In addition to the first city and Perry, Derek Ryan also hit the mark with the visitors.
Mason Marchment, Thomas Harley and Matt Duchene provided the answers for the Texas team.
With this win, the Oilers are in third place in the Pacific Division, three points behind the Vegas Golden Knights. As for the Stars, they are still in first place in the Central with a record of 34-14-7.
Edmonton faces the Arizona Coyotes on Monday. Dallas will face the Boston Bruins on the same day.
