The OnePlus 12 spec sheet has been leaked. If you believe the “leaker” OnLeaks, the new flagship from OnePlus would be equipped with the next high-end SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The first images of the design of the future OnePlus 12 appeared last week. They were published by the leaker OnLeaks who returns today to team up with SmartPrix to reveal the tech specs of OnePlus’ next high-end smartphone that he says you know.
A OnePlus 12 with a screen that we’re starting to get familiar with
This next OnePlus smartphone would come as no surprise in terms of its screen. It is a 6.7-inch Amoled panel with a “2K” resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Technical characteristics are also given in another leak. In this respect, the panel would be LTPO, that is, it would be able to adapt this refresh rate to the use of the smartphone to save some battery.

At the operating system level, logically we would find Android 14 with OnePlus’ new interface, OxygenOS 14. SmartPrix describes the interface as “transparent and user-friendly.” “The fingerprint sensor would be under the screen and the alert slider would be part of it again. This element is highly anticipated and appreciated by fans of the brand and is not present in all of the brand’s ranges, making it a distinctive element.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 would appear on this model
Another important element confirmed by OnLeaks: the presence of Qualcomm’s next SoC for the high-end, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. A chip that should be presented this fall and will appear on certain models from the end of the year should.

This is also indicated by OnLeaks: According to the leaker, the OnePlus 12 will be presented in China “later in the year”. As for the European market, we can expect the OnePlus 12 to launch there around the next MWC in Barcelona. This despite the fact that OnePlus’ presence in France is becoming increasingly rare: the parent company that shares it with Oppo and Realme seems to be leaving the French market, probably partly due to legal problems related to patents.
Continuing with the hardware of the smartphone, we find 16 GB of RAM in the LPDDR5X and a version with 256 GB of storage in UFS 4.0. Through another leak a few days ago, we learned that the OnePlus 12 would be sold in a version with 24GB of RAM. To power all of this, the OnePlus 12 has a 5400mAh battery. It can be charged with a maximum output of 100W, which promises significant charging speeds. The wireless charging couldn’t be beat as it would have a maximum output of 50W.

While we found the excellent Samsung Galaxy S23 predating the OnePlus 11, it was still very good. Above all, its successor, the OnePlus 12, is to be expected in the photo. For this we would have a main photo sensor of 50 Mpx (here, too, another leak that puts the statements of OnLeaks in context), paired with an ultra wide-angle sensor of 50 Mpx and a telephoto lens of 64 Mpx. The latter would offer optical zoom up to x3.

Everything would be developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, as has been the case with the brand’s top-of-the-line products for several years. On the other hand we would find a front sensor of 32 Mpx.
