Oprah Winfrey prays for a way forward after Hamas terror

Oprah Winfrey ‘prays for a way forward’ after Hamas terror attack and Israeli bombings on Gaza: ‘We cannot turn away from the atrocities we witness’

Oprah Winfrey “prays” for a reprieve from the killing as she spoke about the ongoing Israel-Hamas war over the weekend.

In a statement released on Oprah Insiders on Sunday, the 69-year-old television host addressed both the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and Israel’s ongoing bombardment of its occupied Gaza Strip.

“I am deeply heartbroken by the loss of life in Israel,” Winfrey wrote before condemning the Hamas attack.

She also wrote that she was “heartbroken by the deaths of innocent children and civilians in Gaza.”

Winfrey’s statement came shortly before Israel bombed part of the southern Gaza Strip, where it had previously urged Gazan civilians to flee to safety.
