Emily Blunt leads the British stars to receive an Oscar nomination ahead of this year's Academy Awards.
The actress was nominated for her role in “Oppenheimer” as the title character’s wife, Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer.
Oppenheimer and Barbie should top the nomination list.
The two wildly different films have been brought together under the Barbenheimer moniker since their simultaneous release last summer and are now expected to go head-to-head for some of the biggest awards at the 96th Academy Awards on March 10.

It was widely expected that Oppenheimer – Christopher Nolan's masterful portrait of the father of the atomic bomb – would play a major role and would be up for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Cillian Murphy) and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), among others. ) was nominated.
Greta Gerwig's razor-sharp Barbie should also make the best picture list, while Margot Robbie seems capable of making the best actor list.
The film should also receive a mention for best adapted screenplay – an award that usually goes to a screenplay that started as a book, rather than one that started as a plastic doll – as well as in a number of music and technical categories.
Killers of the Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese's three-and-a-half-hour true-crime opus about murders in the oil-rich Osage community of early 20th-century Oklahoma, should also do well.
While audiences are divided, critics have praised the artistry, leading industry observers to expect the film to be recognized in the Best Picture and Best Director categories, as well as some technical categories.
Its three stars are also likely to get a mention – Lily Gladstone is a favorite for Best Actress, Robert De Niro is expected to receive a Supporting Actor nomination and Leonardo DiCaprio is in the running for Best Actor.
