Before welcoming her daughter, the professional athlete shared how she keeps fit during pregnancy while enjoying a home workout.
The pro surfing legend, who lost her arm in a horrific shark attack in 2003, showed off her blossoming belly while sharing a video of the workout on Instagram.
Wearing a yellow patterned sports bra and shorts, the athlete performed a variety of moves including dumbbell lunges, walking side squats and TRX training moves.
Bethany explained that during her tenure, she “trys to move when I can,” sharing that her athletic nature makes it difficult for her to “slow down.”
I work on my mind and body. “I’m not particularly fit here, but I’ll make it,” she captioned one of the training clips.

Bethany gave her 2.1million followers a pregnancy update in the caption, explaining that she’s exercising and taking time off before giving birth.
She wrote, “It feels like the countdown has started!!!” The baby is about two months away! I try to move when I can because I feel so good doing it and feeling so good afterwards. Also, I want to surf hard with my kids in the long run!
“After my baby is born I usually take it very quiet to ensure my body’s long-term health so I can just focus on the baby.” Life as a newborn has never felt easy for me, breastfeeding is heavy and All I can say is that my newborns weren’t “the loose ones” so it requires full focus and calm. I’m not complaining, just sharing my journey!
Adding, “As an exercise-minded person, I find it hard to slow down and let my body rest.” But I know it’s good for me… and I choose to do it! Here’s some advice from me: Wherever we are in life, exercise makes for more exercise, so make time to get moving and do something you enjoy! It’s good for you! And rest when you need it!’
Bethany announced her pregnancy last month and shared a video of the family of five enjoying a day surfing on the water.
The surfer is best known for a shark attack when she was 13 that almost ended her career.
In 2003, while she was surfing off the coast of Kauai with a friend’s family, a 14-foot tiger shark bit off her left arm just below the shoulder.
The others managed to swim her back to shore and put a tourniquet on her, but by the time she got to the hospital she had already lost 60 percent of her blood.

A tiger shark caught and killed shortly after the attack had parts of a surfboard stuck in its jaw and was later determined to be the attacking shark.
Despite her devastating injury, Bethany took less than a month to recover before returning to surfing, and she competed professionally for the first time since the 2004 attack.
In addition to continuing to surf, the athlete has written several books, several of which focus on her devout Christian faith.
On the same day that she shared the news of her pregnancy, she posted a black and white photo of herself and Adam, whom she married in 2013.
“I vote for him every day. I believe love can be a choice that goes beyond just “being in love,” she wrote.
“The beauty that our marriage has become was worth any limits that could be described as sacrifices I set myself in the time of dating before I got married.” And even today, the daily commitment is an ongoing journey” , she continued, before adding a condemnation of premarital sex and abortion.
