Guta will insult his father to defend his mother, but he ends up being beaten by the pawn

And yet another controversy will erupt on the TV Globo screens. That’s because in ‘wetland‘, a scene that has outraged the public will be broadcast very soon. In the next chapters of Bruno Luperi’s novel tenor (Murilo Benicio) and gutta (Juliet Dalavia) will get into a heated argument with the right to ‘buff’ in the face.
It all starts when the farmer’s daughter finds out that he drove Maria Bruaca (Isabel Teixeira) from home after discovering his wife’s betrayal. Guta will remember, however, that he cheated on his mother with Zuleica (Aline Borges) for years. “How have you lied to my mother and me all these years?” argues the engineer. “Nothing justifies the shame she did to me!” Replies the squatter, saying the situation is different.
“Different, why? Why are you a man?” scoffs the girl. “Because I only had an affair once and had to endure this scolding. I’ve worked my whole life not to miss one side or the other,” he will say. Guta shoots her father in disbelief: “You throw her out of the house because she has not the slightest bit of decency, never had and never will!”
However, Tenório will be outraged when he hears his daughter’s words, and they lash out: “You bend your tongue to speak to me! And don’t forget that I’m your father!” orders the crook. “Nothing has ever embarrassed me like being your daughter!” will reply the heiress, stamping her foot and letting her father talk to himself.
