Paul McCartney, one of the biggest names in world rock, arrived at Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte this Friday (1) at 7 p.m. In addition to the two “GOT Back Tour” shows in the city Sunday (3) and Monday (4) some of the musician’s fans are waiting in the rain outside the door of the Hotel Fasano in the central Lourdes district. Southern region, hoping to meet the idol.
The report from Itatiaia follows the musician’s arrival and learns that Paul’s production team checked in in the early afternoon and the band arrived at the hotel around 7 p.m., where a few vans were parked outside. In Fasano there is a bar inside, but on Friday evenings it is closed to the outside world except for those who have made a reservation so practically the entire singing team and band. The artist arrived around 8 p.m.
Some fans are waiting in front of Fasano in the rain, hoping to meet the musician. Lucas, 28 years old, is a student and is waiting for Mr. McCartney over an hour ago. He describes the feeling of being so close to the artist. “Paul is inexplicable. It’s what makes art, you can’t say why we’re waiting here outside the hotel door in the rain. It’s just about seeing the man who composed the songs you’ve always heard, someone you admire so much,” he says.
He even attends two of Paul’s shows in Belo Horizonte Sunday (3) and Monday (4). Counting these two nights, Lucas will have performed with the artist six times and wants to see it up close. “On Monday I want to arrive early so I can be at the start by 1 p.m.,” he says.

The Beatle then performs three times in São Paulo and two more shows in Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro, ending the Brazilian tour that could be the last of his career.
