The preview of the friendly game Peru vs. Morocco was not friendly at all, at least for the players of the Peru team. This Monday some Blanquirroja footballers were attacked by the police as they received support from their fans in a flag at the concentration hotel. Alex Valera, Yoshimar Yotún and Pedro Gallese were involved in the incident, after which the goalkeeper went to a police station.
As the journalist Gustavo Peralta reports, the captain of the Bicolor is in a police station in Madrid, where some of his colleagues will later go. “The Peruvian consulate in Spain is helping to keep the situation with the players of the Peruvian team from escalating. Pedro Gallese is in a police station,” the communicator said.

Peralta explained that the Lyon-based company that organized the event had not previously coordinated with the local police to prevent such incidents. Regarding Gallese, he added that at the moment it is not certain whether he is just declaring or doing other procedures.
Pedro Gallese accused police aggression
Amid the excitement surrounding the brawl, the “Octopus” angered at the confrontation with police authorities. “We want to greet people and they start hitting us,” he told América TV.
