The Peruvian team’s two forwards will try to advance to the next round of the tournament with Al-Hilal and the Seattle Sounders.
For the first time in the history of the tournament, the Club World Cup will have the presence of two Peruvians in the same edition. In addition, in 2023, the strikers André Carrillo and Raúl Ruidíaz, champions of the Asian Champions League and the Conca champions Al Hilal j Seattle Sounderswill try to make their mark in the prestigious competition. The rival to beat for the ‘flea’ is Al-Ahly of Egypt, runners-up in Africa, who made their debut this Wednesday with a 3-0 win over Auckland City to qualify for the next round. The game will take place at Tangier Stadium from 12:30 p.m. (Peruvian time).
In the event of overcoming their respective keys, Ruidíaz’s Seattle Sounders will face the powerful Real Madrid, the prime contenders for the title. For his part, Al-Hilal de Carrillo will face Flamengo as long as he keeps the Egyptian side on the road.
