The Peruvian team announced the final list of those called up for the first double date of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. This list includes the red and white players playing abroad, as well as some of the first division players that Juan Reynoso originally called up. The remaining ones also currently include the Universitario de Deportes midfielder Piero Quispe.
After confirming the midfielder’s final call-up, his girlfriend Cielo Berrios did not hesitate to congratulate the player on this achievement in the bicolor. With a tender message shared on his social networks, Quispe’s partner wrote: “Congratulations my love. I love you,” a letter to which the cream responded with “Thank you, my love.”
