SANTO DOMINGO.- The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, presented this Monday afternoon during his meeting with the press “LA Semanal” the program “Dominicana se reconstruye” aimed at the homes You are in a state of vulnerability.
“We have repaired about 60,000 houses. Another program is “My Housing” of the Ministry of Housing and Construction, where we have delivered 5,665 houses and will deliver about 1,800 more houses by the end of this year, making a total of 7,500 houses,” the President said.
Abinader added that thanks to these programs, about 30,000 people have benefited. “Through the Happy Family program, we will have handed over around 2,912 apartments so far by the end of 2023,” he added.
He also said that the program “My Home” finances the costs through a trust, while in the case of “Happy Family”, the interest rate is financed by the Presidential Ministry.
Likewise, the director of the Titling Unit, Duarte Méndez, expressed that “the projects that we have carried out so far have benefited 28 of the 32 provinces and the projects that we have in execution, currently there are 89 projects that we are working on. “in harmony throughout the national territory.”
