May you come back many, many more times!
Nostalgia reigns
Already in the subway, on the way to the stadium, you can see how fans meet and recognize each other. With long hair and black Tshirts, their eyes meet and a kind of long smile emerges.
Red Hot is one of those bands that influences people’s lives. His songs were mainly played on the radio in the 1990s and 2000s. This creates the feeling of meeting old friends. Not just on stage, but also in the audience.
Everyone has shared important moments in their lives to the sound of these songs, and you can tell by everyone’s excitement that they don’t mind walking the 15 long minutes from the train station to the stadium, even on a very hot Friday in São Paulo.
Those present wanted to take a souvenir with them: no wonder the Morumbi sellers were very happy. The show hadn’t even started yet and 20,000 of the band’s promotional cups had already been sold, a record previously owned by Iron Maiden at 16,000. Each for 20 reais, it was a good fundraiser.
